In January 1942, the ERIE received 100 40’ autocars of the new 1937 AAR design with an 10’-4” IH from AC&F under Lot 2288, Series 95000-

National B-1 trucks. An accurate model is Protocraft’s PC-3306

Paint & Lettering: Cars were delivered in 1942 with sides painted a dark freight car brown: TCP #921 with ends, roof, truck sideframes and

For the 1947 repaint scheme: Car side, ends and roof painted a lighter shade of brown: TCP-923. Be sure to mix in some TCP-179 grey to
replicate normal oxidation to lighten the color and will more accurately replicate the actual color shade once the car was on the road a year
or so.
