Between June 1937 and June 1943, the Canadian Pacic received 6,150 boxcars based on the 1937 AAR design with Murphy Flat Panel roofs

Paint & Lettering: Recommended color is Oxide Red with a dash of orange added. It might be wise to add a 10-15% gray to cut down this a bit as it may look

too bright on a model.

 

Cars were delivered lettered without slogans. In August 1947, the short lived “SPANS THE WORLD” medallion was applied, and in 1950 the stepped

‘CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY’ lettering was introduced. In 1962, this was replaced by the script version of “Canadian Pacific”. All schemes, with artwork by
