1937 AAR boxcar for Central of Georgia with door and a half opening

Protocraft’s all-brass model of Central of Georgia’s 1937 AAR 10’-0” IH Door and a Half distinctive boxcar. Never before done in O Scale, these exquisite

and highly detailed models are built by Boo Rim Precision of Korea.

 

The rst 75 cars were delivered in August 1941 from Pullman-Standard under Lot 5678 as Series 6500-6574. The second group of 200 cars were built by American

Car & Foundry under Lot 2700, as series 6300-6499. Cars came with 4/5 Dreadnaught ends, Apex Tri-Lok running boards and Miner Power hand brakes. The model’s trucks roll on hard steel sintered rib-back wheels with ball-bearings and have working journal covers.
