Between October 1948 and April 1950, the SP received 2,550 70-ton 53’- 6” at cars as follows:

T&NO Series 24550- 24649, 100 cars, American Car & Foundry, Lot FC-3246, delivered October, 1948, Class F-70-6

Series 140500-142549, 2050 cars, American Car & Foundry, Lot FC-3373, delivered October, 1949/April 1950, Class F-70-7

 

In 1956 cars were renumbered as follows:

Series 80255 - 80654 to 560424 - 560823

T&NO Series 24550 - 24649 to 563860 - 563864

Series 140500 -142549 to 560824 - 562854
