1947 40’ auto car for SSW with 4/4 IDN, Series 46300-46449

The 1948 list of equipment for the SSW’s 40’ auto cars show some cars with 3/3/3 lightweight 14’ doors and US Gypsum running boards. These cars also had the Royal F Brake adjustor installed, but with the 4/4 IDN ends. While the background for these cars are not clear, Protocraft has brought in 10 models of this combination.
