Western Refrigerator Line (WRX) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was established in 1929 to operate a 500 car eet of reefers for the Green Bay &
Western Railroad (GBW). Series numbers 9000-9449 set of cars were built in 1932, and in the 1950’s found them painted with yellow sides and
mineral red ends and roof and toe kick. A later series, 9500-9999 by 1960 were found with grey sides and ends and roof; black toe kick, with
a small GREEN BAY ROUTE monogram and the reporting marks of WRX only. (see over)
